Got an issue

Ok so I have a 2009 FX4 (5.4/6-spd) that I got in October. Recently I noticed that while driving I get a random vibration/drone. It doesn't happen at any specific time. It can be during accel, deccel, brake, anytime. It's really annoying and I need to figure out what is causing it. Granted I know I can take it to the dealership I got it from and they could probably help me out, I just wanted to see if anyone else has/had this issue. Oh it will like last for a few seconds, then stop but then it sometimes does it every few seconds/minutes. Anyone have any insight?

Vibration

I had the same problem. The only difference was my truck typically did this at 65-70mph. Purchased late September and took it to the dealership. The have replaced the drive shaft, shimed the rear end, replaced the rear end and the tranny. It is still there at the shop they are doing a buy back. Didn't take much to get them to buy it back due to them wanting to avoid the lemon law but they wanted to charge me all the transfer fees etc. Took alot of argueing but got those removed. My new truck was transferred today. Should be picking it up Thursday.

Ford Engineers wrote on the service ticket as "Buy back for further testing"

To clarify the drone/vibration it was similar to the sound and feel you get when riding in a car and someone rolls down the back windows part way. Similar but on a smaller scale. Enought to enoy the heck out of me.

Damn I hope that mine is that big of a problem. I absolutely love this truck and don't want to have to get rid of it. When I get another weekend I'm going to have to take it in and see whats up. Also I am unfamiliar with the buy back, can you explain to me what it is (probably obvious)

Hate to bring this back from the dead, but over the summer that drone stopped and today it made a grand re-appearence. It seems to be worse too. Has anything/one had this develop on their truck since last January?
