Well being the end of the year Ford was giving good rebates. I got $4500 rebate, plus the local dealer was giving a voucher for a Honda atv worth $4000. I told them I didn't want the atv and I wanted that takin off of the price of the truck. Plus I got an extra $1000 over my payoff for my trade-in.
The trick is buy at the end of the month at the end of the day, and if the end of month is on a weekend even better. My dealer closed at 7pm on New Years Eve and I left the lot at 6:15pm. They were still behind on making deals for that day, so they really wanted to sell me a truck bad.
