Remote Starter Question

Hi everyone new here. Bought a 2009 f150 XLT and has factory remote starter installed problem is it only runs for 10 min. book says you can change to 15 mins but does not tell you how . Dealer says you need to bring it in to have them reprogram it does this sound right for $79.00 for 1 hour on the computer .Does anyone here know how to do this or are telling me the truth.Thanks ahead Great site skidoos

you just need to check out the technical installation instructions for the system and it tells you how to change the run time by accessing the system's "option bank". The instructions can be found here http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/GfaWeb/techSpecs.do
