Two 2010 Platinum questions

What is the switch just ahead of the window switch on the rear doors? Don't remember seeing that on the '09 I test drove. Also, what are the two buttons at the front of the console in the cubby hole area? Don't remember those either.

the rear door switch should be for the rear heated seats which is new for 2010, and my guess on the other switches is for the interior ambient lighting also new for 2010.

That would certainly explain why they weren't on the '09 I test drove. Thank you.

Question Curiosity question:

Why would there be 2 switches for the ambient lighting? Are there two different intensity settings, or two different colors? I thought the F-150 only had blue inside (not sure why, considering I've seen other vehicles with mutliple colors selectable inside).

There are two switches...one controls the brightness and the other cycles through the available colors, There is a dark blue, light blue, green, red, orange, purple....maybe a few others but you get the idea.

Sweet! For some reason I thought Ford only had blue ambient lighting in the F-150. Cool beans!

Some of those colors would definitely set the mood.
