I have an 04 Heritage and a 09 SuperCrew 4x4. The only complaint I have is parking lots with "Compact car only" parking spaces. I bought the long bed. I love it, and it is completely different from my 04.

 

Mine is a plain Jane reg cab, 6.5' bed 4x4. Hate gadgets so got rid of the dumb chimes and this week will dump the OEM tires and get real ones [will give a report in the tire section].
Getting used to auto but it's a nice engine and tranny combo. Replaces a 2003 which I haven't sold yet. It's now set up for amateur radio gear ,when I plug that in I'm ready to go !!

 

had a 99 150 supercab then a 01 supercrew to a 03 supercab all 4x4. Now I have a 2010 supercrew 6.5 xlt chrome pkg. My biggest complaint is the color of the seats!! My only 2 options in a xlt were tan or med stone with is a darker tan. The carpet is black but the seat color sucks. I did not want a fx4 because of the black grill and the painted bumpers (michigan roads with the salt they will rust in 2 years) so Iam forced to buy seat covers

 

This is the best vehicle I have ever owned, 2nd truck. I have a 09 XLT 4x4 SCab. I love this thing.

 

Wifes 02 Explorer and Daughters 02 Mountaineer have (had) that function, the owners manual gave me instructions how to disable the auto door lock, I did that several years ago... sortta forgot how much I disliked it till I read your thread.

My 09 XL does not have power locks => not a problem
