Air Volume for 5.4 V8??

Does anyone know how to calculate the cubic feet per minute needed by the 5.4 V8 at various RPM's? I was thinking of 5.4 lt is about .2 cubic feet. So if I multiple that by 2000 RPM then I get 400 CFM. Does that sound right? I am not exactly sure how the displacement size of an engine is calculated but that this was a good start. Also, since only half of the cylinders are sucking air at any given time cause it is a four stroke should I divide the displacement in half? Any help would be appreciated.

It should be pretty close. I know that using anything larger than a 600cfm carb on a 351 is a waste, and it won't be able to use more than about 450-500 without serious port work. 400cfm sounds about right for the 5.4L (330 cu in.)
