Did you get this mod finished? I don't have the rear defrost either. What are you adding for a switch? Will it turn itself off or will you have to do it? Sorry for all the questions, I'd like to add the heated mirrors to my 09 STX

I havent done it yet due to the holiday and Ive been busy. You can do it one of two ways. Either add a switch that sends +12v to the correct wires in the new mirrors or add the 200 dollar heater controls with the factory switch. I hate to say it, but ill probably do the latter because I want it to be right and it to look OEM. Ill update the post when Im finished with the results.

just an fyi, I bought heater controls with the heated mirror switch for my 2007 truck off ebay for $50. I don't know if they're the same for later models.

Dave, I have an XLT and replaced my mirrors with ones that have signal lights and are heated. Signal lights worked as soon as installed. Can I replace the heater controls and have the mirrors defrost? Gordon
