a few steps to make a offroad light bar(lot of pics)

well i start off by rounding up some steal to build my light bar
than made two mounting plates and welded the tube that comes out from under the bumper

than i made the up right part

added taps for the lights

than some red paint so it will match the truck, in total i have less than 30 dollars and about 3 hours of time
next i just need to get out and get my lights on once the paint drys

I wish I had those tools in my garage to make that an afternoon project; welder, grinder, cutoff wheel, etc. So much more rewarding (and affordable) when you use your own skills to make something custom.

I knew I should have paid more attention in shop class. Wish I had those kinds of skills. Looks great, Red. Post pics when you get it installed. Kind of cold this time of the year in Altoona.

Really nice! I would add some black caps on the ends to keep the water out.
