Congratulations!

That sounds almost exactly what I ended up buying except I couldn't find the 4.6L 3V with the LS diff. AND 4x4 so I ended up with an XLT. But you're going to love that 3V motor, it's so responsive and saves more gas $$ than people realize. The HWY MPG may only be 1-2 mpg better (which is considerable enough if you travel longer distances) but where it really saves is when you're dinking around town, idling, off-road, etc. and it warms up a bit sooner, oil stays clean longer and it feels a bit smoother. Also, it weighs over 100 lbs. less so it's better for off-road. Mated to the six speed AT, it does great towing too.

I ended up paying more to get a truck with the 4.6L 3v instead of the 5.4L but I got a few extras that I appreciate but would not normally have paid more for (if it were not for that sweet 4.6L 3v).

When do you expect it?

Thanks. I'm confident the 4.6L 3V will fit my needs. I've heard 6-8 weeks, closer to 6 lately, so hopefully an early Christmas present!
