It is a keyed plug that you have to take out so you can crank down your spare tire. It comes out easy enough but is a pain in the a$$ to get back in.

I guess you haven't had a chance to read your manual yet?

It's described under "Roadside Emergencies" on page 333. Recommended reading now rather than on a dark night when it's raining and you have have a hot date. :o

edit: might be on a different page in the 2009 manual but I'm sure you can find it.

Lock for spare.

Real men read manuals.
However we do not read directions - i.e. road directions, how to assemble such and such piece of wifes furniture etc

No, you asked a question and got an answer. No one is going to eat you up. Their are so many folks on this site that will gladly help you with any questions you have. And there is allot of people here on this site with knowledge. So never worry about a question you may have.
