Entry/Exit Perimeter Lighting?

I'm a GM guy and I'm looking at the '10 Lariat but have a question about something that I've become accustomed to in my Silverado and other GM cars/trucks, perimeter lighting.

I know the F-150 has entry perimeter lighting, but what about exit perimeter lighting? If so, can you set the length of time the exit lighting stays on?

Yes they have exit perimeter lighting. I can set mine in 30 second intervals up to 3 minutes. When I get out the cab lights and bed lights stay on for the interval I have selected. If I leave the headlights in the automatic position they too will stay on for the selected time.

Cool, thanks! I have my Silverado set for 4 minutes, but 3 will be sufficient.

Prepare to be amazed! I owned 2 Sierra's before I bought my F-150 and i'll never go back! And the 09+'s are even better.

My '09 Platinum also has perimeter lighting underneath the two side-view mirrors that illuminates when unlocking the truck, as well as staying on after locking the truck for a set period of time.

Just be prepared to know those reverse lights will only some on in reverse. Not sure why GM has implemented that idea but it pisses me of every time someone unlocks their car in the parking lot as I am bout to drive behind it. Good luck with the new purchase.

I actually love the reverse lights as perimeter lighting as you can see the ground when approaching from the rear which is really helpful to avoid water and mud puddles. I know that Ford doesn't do it though, which is livable.

Oh, and thanks! I hope I get the chance to purchase. I like the Sierra but I'm pissed at GM for lots of their decisions and some recent quality woes within the family. That, and the fact that the SuperCab actually holds adult humans unlike the newer Extended Cab.
