Happens frequently with mine. Depends on which direction I park in my driveway. It is on an incline but not drastic. Always reads better when nose is elevated. I usually fill up at 1/4 tank anyway. On mine, there is still 10 gallons in tank at that point. This way it feels like it doesn't hurt the wallet as much.
