So my new 2010 Lariat is at the dealer getting prepped. The first thing I noticed when I stopped by to take a look at it is that the door jams seem to be a different color than the rest of the truck. It's like it is missing the coat of paint with the metallic flakes in it. It was more noticeable in the shade than in the sun but it does seem to be a bit different. Is this normal? I guess I would not be surprised if Ford did this to save some money but the salesperson who showed me the truck said he'd never noticed it before though it was instantly noticeable to me. I have not paid for/taken possession of the truck yet but would like to be prepared for their expected response of "it's a feature and supposed to be that way."
