2010 F-150 with Nav, please I need interior shot!

Hello to all...

I have an 09 Platinum F-150 and I decided to swap my sliding power window to the 2010 one, the one that comes with defogger. So I am looking for a picture of how does the switch looks like for the rear defogger on the 2010 F-150s with Navs.
Went to my local dealer, they had an 2010 King Ranch, but that one didn't have the Nav so the console looks different...

Thank in advance!

the same switch is used for the side mirror defrost and the rear window defrost. So you should already have the side mirror defrost. Not sure how the rear defrost would get wired in though...

see page 67 of the 2010 owner's manual (which is the same description as 2009) that shows the climate control buttons with Navi:

ok i found it... so i guess i'll start looking for switch with rear window icon instead of mirror icon. that is basically what my question was about. i wasn't sure what icon new f-150s have, either it is a mirror icon or a rear window or both. thanks!

Here's a "real word" pic of the button if you need it -

I didn't post it directly to the forum page as I left if large and would blow out the page margins.

well, to bring the tread back from the dead... so i ordered the window, which wasn't that much. I think it was around $230 or so...
What seemed like an easy swap from diagrams turned out to be not so easy. The whole interior was needed to be taken apart to put the window in... so it is coming along...
I am doing some other mods as well since the interior is out.
- Adding deadening material to the cab
- Installing auto up/down modules for windows
- Fixing the liner
- Since I hate wood trim, I decided to wrap it in carbon fiber vinyl. It looks pretty good in person...
- Wrapping rear door armrests to match fronts
But all that I'll post in another thread.

cool, but what about how to wire it up? Was there a harness plug back there for the window?

I'll find out about that on friday, but IIRC there wasn't one so we had to run wires.

ok i talked to the guy who did the wiring on it. He said that new window has 3 wires instead of 1 like 09 window had. So basically he said it was semi pre-wired already. So he ran the one wire and he said he looked at schematics for other two wires and couldn't find anything about those two wires, so he left them unhooked but the window works and works great!

Thumbs up

Nice!

I assume the lines in the window are only noticable due to you lighting it up to take the pic? You can't really notice them like that while driving and such, correct? (haven't looked at a '10 w/defrost up close in person).

You can still see them but it is not as bad as it looks on this picture.

WOW, it only cost $230 for the sliding rear with defrost? I'd love to do this! I just have the non-sliding rear defrost window now, so I'm sure a little more would be involved to make that happen on mine, including going up into the headliner with the switch wires for the slide control and getting a new upper console.

I really like the rear window. Do you have the part number? I'm getting conflicting answers from different sites.
