Bakflip HD on a King Ranch or Lariat?

Hey guys,

I've been trying to decide if I want some type of bedcover on my truck. I have an '09 King Ranch, and wasn't sure how it would look with the tan bed rails, being a black cover.

Does anyone else on here have a black bed cover on their King Ranch or 2-tone Lariat? I would love to see a picture of it if you do.

I wish I could find a Bakflip HD that matched to bed rails and 2-tone of my truck.

Thanks for your help.

I have an '09 KR with a roll-up black tonneau cover. The black cover doesn't mix well with the tan bedrails in my humble opinion.

I don't have a picture of it but I just installed the Bakflip G2 on my white FX4 and LOVE the cover. I highly recommend it to anyone! So easy to install and use, good luck!

I hope it doesn't look too bad, as I'm putting one on my King Ranch.

BIG ole TRUCK, I'm really worried about the black not looking good on top of the tan. It almost makes me want to buy one of the fiberglass tops instead, but I don't want to be limited on the size of things in my bed without having to completely remove the cover. That's the only thing holding me back from the fiberglass ones.

fjc, when you install it, please post pics for us to see. Thanks, man!

My soft tonneau cover is a carry-over from the '05 F150 then '07 F150. It's a mismatch in my humble opinion. If you go the soft tonneau cover route, check a local awning shop to see if they can get a color matching vinyl cover for the tonneau cover.

Will do, but don't hold your breath - I just ordered my truck last week, so it'll be a few weeks yet.

you could always paint your bed rails black or get the black bed rail caps from Ford.

I don't think the two-tone Lariat has tan rails, just the King Ranch.
