Coming back to Ford

Well after 2 years driving a Silverado I couldn't take it anymore. I've always been a ford guy went from a Ranger to Explorer to ordered 05 4x4 Lariat (pics in album) before switching over. After ordering the lariat I had nothing but problems, B pillar rattle, ashtray rattle, warped rotors, and the final straw a blown rear differential seal at 50k. So I made an impulse purchase and bought an 07 Z71. The trucks always been fantastic mechanically just never really cared for it. So I finally gave in and went to order a newF150. Luckily enough my dealer found one and is having it shipped in Wed, and I'm going to pick up Friday. Pics will follow. Here's what I have coming

2010 F150 4x4 Lariat SCrew
White Platinum Exterior
Black Leather Capt Chair interior
Sony stereo
5" running boards
20" wheels
luxury package
skid plates

Mods to follow
Line-X
Weathertech mats
Tint
DuHa
285/55 BFG AT KO

Sorry for the long post, just ready to drive a Ford again, hopefully with better luck this time.

Welcome back! I bought my 2001 Supercrew new and have NEVER had a problem in over 100,000 miles. A new battery is about all I've ever paid for other than normal maintenance.

Hey I'd never heard of the "Du-Ha" before. Kinda cool. Good choice on the BFG's.

I've been on the dark side (03 RAM). Came back to an 06 XLT. The new 09 makes me wonder why I ever strayed. Welcome back to Ford. Hope you enjoy your new truck when you get it.

I have a similar story! I have owned 4 F-150's and several Mustangs, so I am a die hard Ford fan. I stopped by a Dodge dealership and bought a 09 Ram 4x4, I had it 6 weeks and stuff was falling apart and you could tell it wasnt built as solid as a Ford. I hit my local Ford dealership and traded it in on an 09 Fx4. I love my new FX4 and its way tougher than my old Ram. I'll never stray again!

I'm a diehard Ford guy, I don't think I'll buy anything else. You got a good looking truck there.
