2010 Ford F150 Supercrew Lariat 2WD - Good Price?

Really love the new F150s.

So I walk into a dealership here in Dallas looking for a pickup I saw on the dealers website. The truck is a 2010 F150 Supercrew Lariat 2WD with the following options:

Optional Equipment
H* Leather Captain's Chairs w/Console & Floor Shifter
61L Lariat Plus Package
64N 20" 6-Spoke Machined Aluminum Wheels
18C Chrome Tubular Running Boards
PUG White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat
58B Sony 6-Disc In-Dash CD Changer w/AM/FM Stereo
63T Tailgate Step
XH9 3.55 Limited Slip Axle Ratio
PU6 Dual-Coat Paint
67T Trailer Brake Controller

Total MSRP $41480

Edmunds lists the invoice at $37189 and TMV $38859.

I'm xplan so the dealer showed me the dealer invoice. Dealer invoice lists:
MSRP: $41480 Invoice: $37872 (+$683 than what is listed as invoice on edmunds) Xplan: $37995 (+$123 from invoice) and holdback was something like $1200.

So dealer tells me he will do better than xplan. He qoutes me the following:
Dealer Invoice minus $1000 from his holdback minus current rebate ($3000) +TTL.
This comes out to the following: $37872 - $1000 - $3000= $33872 +TTL

Has anyone seen similar discrepancies in invoice from what the dealer invoice shows and what edmunds shows?

Does this seem like a fair price?

Don't quote me on this, but I think the discrepancy in invoice price from what you see on Edmunds is some Ford advertising/marketing fee they lump in there. I recall I eventually found exactly what it was online back in Jan when I was pricing out my truck, but it wasn't readily apparent.

Good luck with your negotiations.
