I don't have a measuring tape on hand but here are a couple pics to show the gap. Might be tight but I don't know if it would work.

Here are a couple pics installed. Not the best used my camera phone. The driver side lined up perfect no issues at all. However! The Passenger side I needed to drill a hole for the center bracket to match up. How tight should I wrench these nuts?

Also, I got the steps for $389.99 shipped to me.

That's odd - they used to list them.

For some reason some places way overcharge on these - I guess because some people are too lazy to shop around. A couple places around here that I called wanted $600 or so.

I have a wholesale account because my brother has a shop . Hooked me up at cost. They might be able to ship you a set but probably like $50 more. I can find out more on Monday if you'd like.

Thanks for the info, and the pictures are great. I pretty much guarantee I'll have to go another route. It's a shame, because those trucks look good!

There's no way that $390 is "at cost" if places are more than willing to sell them for $400 IMO.

http://4wheelonline.com/Nfab_FordWhe...s.91726.238409 - $402 shipped

Even if you can't find that particular part number on a retailer's website, I'm sure if you gave them a ring they could get them, and most places will pricematch most other places. For instance, 4WP sells N-fab, but they don't list the wheel-to-wheel bars for the '09 (F0996CC) but I imagine they could get them.

K Sugarbear I will find out what I can get them sent to you for. If you can find cheaper online then go for it. My price is through our supplier so I am sure if we had an account direct to N-Fab it would be cheaper.

They really cost me $339 + $50 shipping (next day). I could have picked them up and saved on shipping but didn't want to drive 2 hours lol.

Ah I must have failed at searching then. That's about the best price I've seen anywhere. Tack on $50 for shipping and you're at the average $400.

They list them for the " wheel to wheel " model, saw nothing listed for just the cab length model , though ?
