Sorry, it's been crappy here the last few days. When it clears I will take some more. I am liking the black HD lights more and more.

I just hope adding on HD parts to my truck won't slow it down too much.

Pig9r, let me know what you think of that Aeroskin. I am considering getting that myself, but wasn't sure if it really added much other than looks. I have the same truck, wish I could afford new head's and tails, looks great. Now just add the Harley Grille to that bad boy and you would be set!

Sorry to hear that. Where did you order them from? Do you feel crack was due to packaging at the vendor, handling by the shipping vendor, or both?

Thanks

Came double boxed from TASCA . Their packing looked sufficient and I am sure it was broken in the unopened single box they recieved it from FORD in.

Dominic already has another one on the way for me...

I just put those part numbers into Tasca's site, the right taillamp is $48.32 and the left taillamp is $75.43. Can anyone tell me why one is more expensive than the other?

Just looked at the same thing and was wondering that myself.

I picked up a 2010 lariat crewcab in pearl white last week, and I'm thinking about getting the black heads and tails for that...I almost came home with a pearl white expedition limited, and that had the black heads from the factory hand it looked amazing...but I went for the f-150 instead. I'm just having a hard time dropping that much money on headlights....

ASY AL34-13006-A(or B)
HARLEY/SVT

ASY AL3J-13006-A(or B)

So apparently the standard is brite aluminum, Harley/Raptor is black and the FX2 is sterling grey. I probably would have ordered the FX2 lamps to match my sterling grey FX4. I'll be curious to see what they look like.
so are those the right part numbers? i went to order harley lights today and my dealer said that these part number don't come up in their system

Those are the part numbers molded into the lights themselves. They have likely changed since the taillight part numbers had changed. When I ordered them from Tasca I believe this was the number:

AL3Z-13008-AB
AL3Z-13008-AA

Surely your dealer could have looked up lights by model (HD or Raptor)?

Before you buy, I would get a price from Tasca, I have yet to come across another supplier that can beat their price.

yeah tasca gave me same part numbers (only though they said only one letter at the end). well it is not a dealer, it is my parts wholesale people i work with, they only take orders by part numbers and have no means to look it up. usually they are cheaper than anyone else, so i try to order oem through them. i already ordered them through tasca because my guy wasn't able to find them, but i'll try the new ones you gave me (with double letters at the end) and see what kind of price he'll quote me. thank you!

Check with Tasca Ford, they should have a couple of FX2 VINs to search from. The part numbers I listed came directly off of the back of the lights.

I did the search for AL3Z-13008-AB and it gave me a price of almost 200 dollars for the the headlamp assembly. Ouch. I cant spend 400 for two head lights. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

Nope, you aren't doing anything wrong. They are ridiculously expensive head lights.
