I am having some issues with Ford Sync. Every time i connect my iPhone, it has to index it, which takes forever... Usually takes like 20-30 minutes. And while it is doing that, i have no access to the artist i want to chose, song i want to play, etc... I have searched and can't seem to find a step by step instructional guide on how to do the USB 2.0 mod, the one where you can download all your songs onto a hard drive or something? Could anyone point me in the right direction of how to do this? I have a 2009 F150 if that helps, thanks guys.

 

I am having the same problem with an IPOD Touch 8gb. I want to continue using my ipod in lieu of the usb mod. Any help for indexing problem would be greatly appreciated.
