Free oil changes for life

Did anyone else get free oil changes for life with their new truck? My dealer says that as long as I bring my truck in for all the scheduled maintenance I'll get free oil changes for life......cool.

When we bought our SUV, we got free changes for life. Sure enough took it down when that time came they changed it no out of pocket costs.

Now the place has shut down, and nearest dealership that will honor there free changes is over 2 hours away. Just make sure you arn't getting a this for that deal.

His is not free either. If they make you do all the scheduled maintenance, you will pay dearly. The schedule includes some items my dealer told me to wait on, plus they will charge you very high prices for things such as a fuel filter. Some dealers charge $69 for a fuel filter, when you can do it yourself in 15 minutes for about $13. Same situation with air filters.

Yeah there's always a catch with stealerships. I live in Canada and ford recommends we change our oil at 5000 miles, I'm good with that.

The honda dealer where my old truck and my wifes accord were bought did this and it was truely free because honda did not allow the prices of the vehicles to be fudged. got rid of my "cruck" (Car/Truck aka ridgeline) for a real truck (yay) and so now its just my wifes accord that gets it.
