Just got home from the tint shop, they did a great job. You cant see any chrome and they also warrantied the work. Sorry for the dirty pics, but i was gonna wash the truck and ran out of time.

How do they tint them? They look great!

 

they used a heavier film than they would on your windows, and just put it on the outside of the light. Guy said it was a pain in the *** to do but said it came out really good.

 

I'm really digging the tint. how much and how did they do it? Did they just tint over the chrome/ over the plastic lens? Square us away with the details. I'm going to have to do this.

Im guessing every shop is going to be different as price goes. I paid $120...I guess you could use that price as a negotiating point. Seemed fair enough to me

For about $15 more you can buy the HD/Raptor tails.

i know, but on the raptor tails you still have a chrome lip going around the tail light.

 

I just got some and there is no chrome, it is clear.

Pig9r is right. There is no chrome on the Raptor.

 

That clear line around the tail light is what i was making reference to...i didnt want that, i think it stands out on a black truck to much
