Good Deal on 09' FX4?

I am about to throw down for a 2009 White FX4 SuperCrew with the luxury package, 20 inch wheels, sunroof, and all the bells and whistles, except the navigation. Today, the dealer quoted me about $35,381 and this was with the X-Plan. Does that seem like a good deal? MSRP for the truck was like $43,381.

I just bought a 2010 fx4. The msrp was $39640 and I paid $33250 for it. Plus they gave me a $225 less than nada value in excellent condition. My brother in law just bought a truck like what your describing just his has navigation. He got almost $10000 off plus 0% interest. I think your getting a good deal but I think you could get a great deal if you played a little more hard ball. Just my opinion

People have been getting over 20% off MSRP for 6+ months. 2010 models are on the lots, so the discount should be even more.

This is before TTL which varies a lot by location.

Its a good price, see if they will throw in a spray in bed liner, taneau (sp?) cover or bed rug, what ever you want for free.

See what goodies you can get for free or discount, that will make the deal even better.

Its a good deal, $8,000 off of MSRP but I have seen 9 and 10k off locally so see what they can do. See if they will finance for 0% or 0.9% interest at that price.

You might be able to do a little better than X-plan price. I recently ordered an FX4 SuperCrew and was prepared to use X-plan but negoiated less than X-plan (about $100 over invoice).

Make sure you verify the X-plan price by asking to see the invoice.

This truck sounds exactly like the one that was on the lot next to the one I bought - the one you are looking at was less the NAV, but I bought the one with the NAV.

Sounds like a decent deal - as others have said, sometimes you can do a little better than the X-Plan price.
Mine is almost exactly like the one you are looking at, and stickered for 43,195 - ended up paying ~35,500 for it, but I had a trade involved.

As someone else said, it is a decent price - just try to squeeze them for a couple more bucks, or a couple added goodies. Even if you can't, if you really like the truck, BUY IT!

Pig9r, X-Plan price is less than invoice. I purchased a new 2009 Supercab STX 4x4 with MSRP $33020 and paid $26500 out the door with 7% sales tax. No trade.
