2010 FX4 has arrived

I ordered it on July 4th and just took delivery of it last weekend. It's a long bed, black cloth interior, rear view camera in mirror with a solid rear window. I ordered it because I wanted it to be exactly how I wanted so it was well worth the wait.

Next up is the usual mods. AS 2" level, BFG AT and new wheels. Nothing out of the ordinary but I'm just glad it's mine. Here's the photos:

My only complaints are the annoying dash lights that won't come on unless it's dark. That was solved with putting a piece of black plastic neatly over the sensor on the dash. Also, when is ford going to ditch the radio antenna and add a fin or something to the top of the cab? Antenna's are outdated. I like the new front seat headrest's but could do without the new big rear ones.

Anyways, that's about it.

Chris

Eventually. IMO, these are the best looking stock wheels on a F150 besides those rare 22's in the back of the brochure.

Yep I agree those are the best stock wheels. Harley lights look better on dark colored trucks IMO - otherwise you have a sort of out of place black outline. Is that a 386?

Thumbs up

You'll have to keep us apprised of the brake dust situation. Supposedly Ford has made some strides in that area for the 2010 F-150's. And how is visibility with those huge rear headrests? I was driving around a lot today in my '09 and started thinking how much visibilty would be lost if my headrests in the rear blocked out window space, and those ones on the '10 seem huge, at least in the pics I've seen.

Those "wrench" rims are cool looking, I recall mentioning it a long time ago when they first started unveiling trim levels and pics of the '09's. Although I wouldn't give up my standard Plat rims {so shiny} for anything (didn't much care for those "special" rims in the back of brochure). Of course, I'd gladly give up the brake dust on the front rims! Can't wait until my pads wear down and I replace them with something much less dusty!
