Line x in rear wheel wells?

Is it worth getting the rear wheel wells sprayed? Line x Dealer said it would be cheaper if I get it all done at once and definitely better to do the wheel wells before I get it rust-proofed. Anyone have their's sprayed? It's only an extra $90...vs. $20 for some rubberized spray on undercoat. What do you guys think?

I went and bought some 3m stuff in a spray can at the auto parts store and sprayed it on myself. Seems to be holding up well and looks a lot better.

I sprayed the rubberized undercoating in mine, because I didn't think about the wheel wells when I had my liner installed. If I had to do it again I would line x the wheel wells.

My Line-x dealer told me they would have to take the bed off the truck and flip it over to spray the wheel wells. I'm pretty sure I have heard of people getting it done with the bed on the truck....but I didn't debate it with them.

Dealer said they would remove rear wheels for better access and then mask of part of the rear fenders to prevent overspray. I will probably only drive 10% gravel roads in the life of the truck but for less than $100 why not?

Got the bed and the rear wells Line x'd. Looks great. Only had to remove the tires.
Also had the truck "Krown" rust proofed. Ready for winter!

all of our trucks have LineX on the wheel wells, and i can say that keeping them clean is a breeze. a simple spray of the hose & they are as good as new. i would say go for it, esp if u can save a few bucks on it while your bed is also being sprayed.

I plan on getting the wheel wells sprayed with line-x when I get my bed done. Detailing and washing the wheel wells stink... I always cut my hands on the sheet metal and I don't want rust.

I wish we had Krown franchises in the U.S. - sounds like a great product. I'm a real fan of putting petroleum based waxes on metal, especially all the running gear and large fasteners. Keeps them easy to work on.

Anyone know of a similar product/service in the U.S.?

I just painted my wheel wells last summer with the factory gray colored Rustoleum, I did it by hand & brush, after 3 coats, they both are holding up incredibly well to the elements....the factory finish is incredibly light & cheap for such an expensive truck I find!.....
