Could anybody please let me know if the 08 banded TPMS will work on 09 F150 ?? I know the 09 uses the newer valve stem sensor, not the banded sensor. Not sure if the freq. are different etc ??

As far as the research I've done - no, the banded sensors will not work on the '09's.

I've got my new sensors and valve stems ready to install in my winter setup right now.

 

yea that is what I thought, just actually received confirmation from Ford. Just was trying not to have to break down the tire to remove bands and install new TPMS's

yea the new sensors are a valve core and sensor assemble, no more banded sensors.
