I drive alot, so I'm curious to see how the Sync will perform. I get real tired of the bluetooth in my ear!!

Thanks for the input!!

Should be another week...

Jeff, it's great! You'll love it. Do a search in the forum for SYNC. There's a bunch of posts on this.

it works perfectly, the freedom to be completely hands free and have your entire phone book/contacts at your disposal with voice comands is great. its the best thing Ford could have done, plus its like have a media center in your truck for your music.

This was a deal breaker for me, if it didn't have it I didn't want the truck. Make sure your phone is compatible. My phone has quirks in it that I'll likely upgrade someday. Streaming songs from your phone works really well also. Have a 8 GB card in my phone and plays lots of music thru it.

Its amazing!! You can even stream music from your phone to your truck. Ford went all out with Sync. Congrats on the new rig.

It rivals my wife's Acura TL handsfree system. I couldn't be happier with it. I have my work cell and personal cells linked to it. I still need to figure out how to switch between them without touching the phones but aside from that, it is incredible.

Depends on the phone, my Blackberry Tour doesn't play well with Sync, no one can here me on the other end. Apparently it's a phone issue and not a truck issue, but still sucks that it doesn't work.

I really like the Sync system. I had a palm treo and everyone said they could barely hear me. I have a blackberry 8330 now and had no problems so far. Everyone can hear me now.

Does anyone else have to turn the volume to pretty much max to hear the other person? Or did I miss something.

When I'm in my truck I always use it for making and receiving calls. No brainer if you as me.

If I had an MP3 player I'd be using that through Sync as well. I guess I better get with the times.....

I agree with everyone - I think 'SYNC' is one of the best features of my truck.

In case you haven't seen it yet, here is a site to get more familiar with it:

Considering it allows total hands free communication, recognizes voice commands, what's not to like? I'm sure you'll love the SYNC just like the rest of us.

I have the Blackberry Curve (AT&T) for work and I have the LG Versa (Verizon) for personal phone. Both work great. I like it better than the bluetooth that was in her Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. I have had no issues and the voice dial works fine for me.
