Performance Issues?

So I have a Black 09 SCrew Platinum 4WD. It's even better than my 05 Lariat. I picked it up about 6 weeks ago and I have noticed the transmission shifting issues that others have seen. I drive a lot and have about 5500 miles on the truck already. It will go in soon for the TSB that is out for rough tranny shifts, but I have noticed another issue. When I accelerate pretty quickly onto the freeway, it seems like the truck is starving for fuel. It's not so bad that it dies, but I can feel it. I've run 87, 89, and 93 octane and see the same results. Anyone else having the same problem?

I would not mind to have a copy of that myself.
