Bug Screen?

I was wondering if anyone had installed a bug screen on their 09s yet? I found one after a quick 5 minute search that looks pretty nice. Heres a link.

Just curious as to what others have done.

That looks like a decent kit to me as well. Anybody have any experience with it or others?

Head to your local hardware store..buy some screen and a grommet kit..I bought like 10 ft of screen and a kit for $18..yeah, it will take me 20 mins to make it and its only $8 less than if bought.. but I can make about 3 of them! Plus I get to size it how I want it.

A friend at work has the db..works well..but watch where you place the bungees, his was scratching his paint off on the rad support.

I ended up ordering this kit and hopefully will find some time to install it this weekend. As soon as I get it installed I will get some pictures of it up on here.

Well I got my kit in today and had it installed in about 2 minutes. Should work really well- it covers the whole radiator so it was the prefect size.
It is not noticeable unless you are right up next to the grill and looking for it.

Looks great - seems like a quality piece that fits well.

Now if it were so simple to keep the bugs off my entire front end!

According to the site from the link in the first post, the screen is available for '05-'09.

Looks pretty nice. I assume the fold marks will dissapear over time.....but that is a big honkin' logo they put on there. Kinda sticks out like a sore thumb! Is it removable?

Yeah the fold marks should disappear in a few days. The logo can't really be seen once the hood is closed, unless you are at the same height as it looking straight at it. Standing up and looking down its not really noticable. It looks to be painted on, so you could probably simply just paint over it to remove it or cover it up.

The nice thing is this is easily removable to powerwash the bugs out and no need to worry about bending radiator fins over. I feel its definatly worth the $20.
