Some hauling pics with the 09

I took a road trip to enjoy a little down time and took my quad with me. The place I went to was Croom Offroad Park in Brooksville, Fl.

To answer the questions...

1. 2004 YFZ450 w/full exhaust, jetting, no lid, dyno tuned, full frame and swingarm skid plates

2. Black Widow Extra Wide ATV Ramps

Enjoy the pics...

on the way down...

being followed...

the unload...

riding pics...

Nice truck, I was set on a King Ranch until I checked out a 09 w/ black leather. How come you didn't go with the 6.5' bed so you can fit the quad in the truck? I'm sure I'll need the 6.5 for my sportsman 800. BTW, is croom still dead? It's nice up there now that there aren't so many people running around.

I know it would fit the quad better but other than that I have not run into anything that has required the longer bed..........yet. And I didnt special order this truck. It actually was a dealer to dealer trade and my salesman called me after dealing with me for 2 weeks waiting on my car to be officially totaled *sniff* and offered it to me 10k off over the phone. I was there 3 hrs later doing paperwork...lol. It has everything I wanted so I lucked out.

As for Croom...it seems they are smoothing the trails out more with a tractor and they are not as bad on the quads but the pit is still the pit...lol.

I love it. The chrome tow mirrors and the wheels look awesome together.

Great looking combo... All you need is a heavy duty bed extender and you're good to go...

Great pics, nice truck. I'll have the family and the travel trailer at Silver Lake (other side of 75 from Croom) this coming weekend. I don't have any toys for Croom.

Tailgate

Any problems with the tailgate handling the weight of loading & unloading the quad?

Cool riding area!

FWIW, 6.5' bed loses at least 100 pounds of payload. So, more length, but can carry less weight.

No problem at all. The tail gate doesnt even make a sound or move when loading/unloading.
