Steering issue or not?

I’m not sure if I’m having a steering issue or not. While driving no problem, but when I’m stopped and I turn the wheel it’s really hard to turn. My question is if I’m having a steering issue or if the tire size and heavier weight of my Supercrew is the reason? Anyone else having problems like this?

Thanks for any input.

Mine is easy to turn when stopped and the motor running.

You could see if it feels the same as when the motor is off... if it does, your power steering pump is bad.

yes it will be a little harder to turn when wheel is stopped it has more resistance than a turning wheel how does it feel when driving and any doubts i would stop by your dealer and try one out with same size tires and wheels i sure you will find its ok.

Bring it to the dealer to check out. Some members had similar problems; Ford replaced the power steering pump.
