I live in the Phoenix are but have not seen that many. Mostly are work trucks, not many customs at all.

Here in my corner of SoCal I see one every now and then...haven't seen another Platinum yet though...mostly XLT's. Funny, a couple of weeks ago I was filling up and a guy (in the wife's Honda) started asking me about the new F-150. Turns out he has an '07 Tundra that he doesn't sound too excited about. Told him to go check out the new F-150 and he said "Only problem with the F-150 is everyone has one"...to which I replied "there is a very good reason why they sell the most - great trucks!!"

As a matter of fact...the '09 F-150 was the best selling vehicle in the US for May '09 (not just best selling truck mind you - best selling VEHICLE...PERIOD!!) and I'm betting it will be for June and July '09 as well

I live in Los Angeles and I've seen more 2010 mustangs than 09 F150s.

Just ran some rough numbers:

There is about ...... (F150's on the road)
1997 - 2003 = 2,700,000
2004 - 2008 = 2,000,000
2009 = 300,000

I went across town and ate lunch with my wife today and saw 2. I see at least 2 or 3 a day it seems. Sometimes the same ones, sometimes not. I only have a <20mile round trip commute, too. This is in Topeka, KS. Not a huge city by any means. There seem to be a bunch of 09's being sold here.

I see them all the time, although mostly work trucks. I haven't seen any that are modded though, all of them are bone stock = boring. Give it time I guess.

They are everywhere here in middle GA. In my parking lot alone at work there are 6 and we only have about 1500 people in my complex. Even the AFB I work on has several.
When I bought my Platinum there were 5 other Platium's on the lot (6 in all). 3 weeks later ALL were sold along with 3 KR's and I don't even know how many other 09's they sold.

But if you think about it like this, you have a truck with a MSRP of 50K, Dealer's first price quote of 40K plus rebates, yeah they are gonna sell like wildfire!

For the longest time I didn't see any but in the last couple of months I have seen several of them. I think alot has to do with the late production start and the economy is why you don't see as many.

I usally see 2-3 a day here in SE Iowa. This is Ford country here, lots and lots of 04-08 around also. Next most seen is Chevy Silverado followed by a few Dodge and Toyota pickups.
