Couple of things....

#1 Yesterday I fixed my driver's mirror folding issue. I could see where it was rubbing/dragging between the inner and outer mirror housing and using first 200 grit then 400 grit then 1500 grit then a very small amount of grease, it works very smoothly now and doesn't get hung up at the halfway point like before.

#2 I finally found a cab cover aka "cab cooler" for an 2008 F250 Superduty CrewCab (King Ranch) that fits my 2009 F-150 Plat perfectly. It was $143.08 (w/free shipping) and covers the entire cab...much easier to install/remove (and store) than the full cover or the cab forward cover. It even came in gray and goes nice with the silver paint. Fits like it was made for the '09 Screw and I simply tuck the door handle elastic strand under the door handles and tuck the front under the wiper blades. I'm going to see of I can have a 6" "flap" sewn a few inches above the front edge so it overhangs the wiper arms/cowl area since UV rays will discolor the cowl and ruin the wiper blades. No pics yet - because the truck is so dirty - I'm ashamed to show it - I'll wash and get pics with the cover soon.

Covercraft Cab Cooler Part# CP15817GK / Standard Mirror.

#3 the hood and front bumper misalignment is still driving me nuts...going to have to be my next "mod" getting them properly aligned by Ford or a body shop.

Good job. This proves my theory that the best fixes are the ones you do yourself.
