I am 6'-6" tall, commute 75 miles/day in a 2006 Ranger and get an actual average mileage of between 20.5-21.5 mpg. I'm tired of stuffing myself into this little shoe box (I sorely miss my '01 F-150) and am interested if anyone has actual mileage calcs for the new '09 F-150 SFE?

 

Can't speak for the SFE, but I have a 2wd XLT wil the 4.6 3v. I have 1500 miles on it and I get 17mpg combined right now. And I've read that it is only going to go up from there.

 

I have the super crew SFE and I get 19.9mpg with mixed city/highway.

 

I have a 09, 2wd, xlt, 5.4, 3.55 rearend, screw and I can get 20 and 21 MPG, depending on how fast I drive, on the highway.

 

I am very tall too and you're going to love the 2009 F150. Way more comfortable than my 1997 F150.

I get about 18.5 mpg w/ a 5.4, 3.31 rear on my SCREW.

Gets 21 mpg cruising on the freeway.
