They are a little old and overplayed. Unless you have to have it, I would spend the money elsewhere IMHO. They just never seem to last.

I've got one on mine and I like it. Just order the 60" version and you should be fine. I have a Recon brand and like it pretty well. Some sites say it won't fit with the tailgate step, but I have the step and I was able to make it work. There is a bracket on my 09 that sticks out on the right side and get's in the way a bit, but you can move the one bracket and make it fit.

The install can be pretty wasy as it comes with a 4 way plug and will plug into the 4 way trailer plug. I chose to wire mine into the back side of the plugs. When you install them, it's easier if you remove the tailgate after locating it. You also need to be cautious about anything getting in between the tailgate and the light bar when the tailgate is down. A rock will do a number on the light bar when you close the tailgate if you aren't careful.

I plan to tint the tail lights on my truck some and figure the line of fire is a good addition to the truck for additional lighting when needed.

Here is a picture of mine.

I plan on getting a 60" recon line of fire white lightning once my 09 arrives in a month. This one has the white leds in it for the reverse lights too on top of the regular line of fire.

Make sure it doesn't flash or give off too much flare. It could be perceived as a police officer and impersonating a law enforcement office is a major crime. I say leave the flashing light to Michael Knight and KITT

All RECON products are SAE & DOT approved for street use.

To each his own I guess. Not how I am going to spend $130. Take pictures when you get it, videos too.
