just the filter, you can get the filter and disconnect tools at your local autoparts store


FYI Silverados have been using an integrated "lifetime" filter/fuel pump since around 2005

My wife's 2002 Volkswagen Passat has a lifetime filter too.

Explains what? It just tells you about replacing the fuel filter on '04's+, not about the so-called lifetime fuel filter on the '09's. Yeah, I too am leery of this. I do hope the Ford plan isn't that you just throw away the whole truck and buy a new one when the fuel filter gets clogged!

If something breaks, they will fix it. You guys worry too much. Well my 100k - 60 month bumper to bumper has my back.

Too many worries about a fuel filter that doesn't need servicing. Just enjoy driving your new trucks.

wow a bunch of negative nancys around here passing on a truck because of a lifetime fuel filter. You be leery, I'll be enjoying my '09.
