I have an 09 that I am putting a Flowmaster Super 44 on. My muffler place does not stock Flowmaster but will put it on if I order it. The OEM muffler is 2.5" in and out but I think it is 3" out of the cat and reduces at a flange. Should I order the 3" inlet and have them run new pipe to the 44 and will it sound deeper/louder with the larger input? They will be 2.5" dual leaving into 4" tips.
