Anybody ever LOSE an ordered truck?
That happend to me. The truck that went missing i didnt want to wait for so i bought another truck from another dealer through my dealer. I done all the paper work and the loan and i owned a new truck. Just was waiting for them to del it. Well the next day they called me and said that they had sold my truck to another person and that i couldnt have it anymore! Some dealers are proper wan***s. They dont care about you they just want money and they dont care who it's from.
Wow, some dealers really screw people over. My 08 came in 6 weeks early, because my lease on my 05 was not yet up it sat on their lot untouched for the entire 6 weeks. It had 12 km's on it when I picked it up, so I know they didn't use it for test drives. It was parked at the very back of their lot the whole time with a "sold" tag hanging from the rearview mirror.
Hope you get your situation figured out. My 10 is currently on order, supposed to be here mid to late Jan.

A couple months ago the wife and I were looking for her new SUV/truck. The closest one had the F-150 and Explorer she was interested in, but did not have a Sport Trac. The next closest one (Astro Ford in Diberville MS) had a Sport Trac so we drove over there to take a look. We parked found the SUV looked it over (it wasn't one we wanted, but she still wanted to drive it). Wandered around the lot for a few minutes looking lost. Then we decided to go inside and see if we could find a salesperson to help us. There were plenty of sales people in groups talking and joking and laughing. We wandered around the showroom looking for brochures. Had a couple sales people look at us then go back to their talking among friends. Never did find the brochures we were interested in. Was never greeted or asked if we needed help. Looked at the sales manager through his glass wall and gave a look like what the hell are you doing and walked out. During the whole time we were never asked if we needed help.
Went back to the first dealership to find out when they would be getting a Sport Trac on the lot and told them of the story. I was advised that that is how Astro does business. I went home and immediately wrote angry letters to both Astro Ford and Ford. It angers me that Ford can allow a dealership to remain in business that drag their company name through the mud with extremely poor service, but it angers me more that I haven't had a dividend paid to me in over 2 years.
My advice is to let the pen go and write Ford about the **** poor customer service you are receiving. It might do a couple things. One get you a little more off your truck or some other give away. Two help Ford identify dealerships that are screwing things up for them.
