my ebrake cable is rubbing on the spring now bare metal is showing . Ford dealer said this is normal nothing to worry about. Seems to me that if this is happening after 17,000kms whats it going to loook at @ 100,000kms I bet I'm being buying a new brake cable??

 

Well get some zip ties or something and see what you can do. Or cover it in a hose or flex loom. You shouldn't have to deal with it, but it is better to fix it now then when it is out of warranty.
