How does one scroll through ipod playlist with Sync?

I have the non-nav radio on my FX4.

I tend to listen to podcasts more than music and so the Sync indexing and play by voice command tend not to be that useful to me.

For a podcast, it makes more sense to scroll through my playlist, pick a podcast and select it.

It seem that once the ipod is connected to the usb interface, I can't do anything from the ipod itself. Is voice my only option to navigate the ipod once I have hooked it up?

Any way to go through my playlists and podcasts at all?

Hit Menu, Play Menu, Tracks... then you can scroll away!

You can skip from song to song that way but to scroll through the artists and albums you have to do that on the radio. Menu - Play Menu - Then scroll right to ALL, ALBUMS, ARTISTS or SONGS.

Right, unfortunately you will have to use the **** around the "Tune/OK" button to scroll through your list of songs... the buttons on the steering wheel will just skip songs. Sorry man. I hope that helps!

Hey the Tune button on the radio is good enough for me! Will try that out tomorrow. Thanks.

I was very happy when I discovered I could locate playlists and scroll by artists and albums. Much more enjoyable now, and the IPod never leaves the truck!
