New truck! Had something that appeared to be sap all over. Dealer cleaned some spots I found while I was at the lot. Took it home and had the first cleaning a few days ago. Appears whatever the little seeds were had a yellow sticky oil residue that has stained the paint in two small locations. Scrubbed as much as I could and wouldn't come out. Also found a small bubble in the paint on the roof where it appears something got under the paint at the factory.
Take it back and show the dealer or go with it since the truck is perfect everywhere else?

I would try clay barring the truck to remove the stains if possible myself. If that didn't work, I would show the dealer and get their opinion. I might also ask an independant body shop in my area for an opinion before I let anyone touch it, but that's just me.
Double-edged sword.
Dealer-installed paint defects typically occur as a result of trying to correct something of lesser magnitude.
My point, the lot monkey that is going to be handed a rotary and a bottle of 'polish' will not likely know what he is doing and may end up making it worse. Your call but, it's not just as simple as letting the stealership 'handle it'.
The bubble -- depends on the severity to me... if it's out of sight and out of mind, I'd probably let it be. A full respray won't likely be of the quality of the factory-sprayed/cured system.
G'luck either way!

Decided that its a truck. I am going to beat it up worse than it is now so not a big issue. The little bubble is no more than the size of a single paint drop. It is near the roof seam so it could easily be a piece of weld slag that wasn't buffed off before the paint process. I am just going to let things be.
But if anyone installs a bedliner that uses the factory tailgate screws reinstalled be carful there isnt much meat for them to bite. I stripped two this afternoon installing my Dualliner. Just used the pushpins from the liner inplace of the stripped screws.

Like someone else mentioned, try a clay bar to the sap, yellow deposits first. If it's on the paint surface (not in the surface), it should be taken away with the clay bar. If you can't lift the yellow stain, visit your friendly, independent body shop for help.
As for the paint bubble, if it's solid like you think it is, I would leave it alone.
