$50 - I'll take it!

Ford sent me a letter that they want to check the smog output of my 09 f150 and pay me $50 bucks. They are going to come to me so minimal effort on my part. Anyone else get this offer?

That sounds suspicious to me. Why would they do that when at random they can do it at dealers for free all day?

Roush was doing testing like that years ago. My dad had a Sable wagon and they gave him money and a Town Car to drive for a couple weeks while they did testing on his car.
