Special paint on rocker

I noticed today that the special paint that had a bumpy surface that Ford used on the rockers is no longer used on the 09's. Hope what they have in it's place holds up as well as that stuff.

I have never noticed any special paint on the rocker panels,maybe some bad orange peel.

Definitely not orange peel. It was a special paint and coating that was put on the rockers to fight stone chips.
