When will it end?

In the last two days, I ordered a stainless exhaust tip, a Husky underseat storage bin for under the backseats, an EZ Down and a power tailgate lock.

From my experience, it won't stop on your current truck until the day you trade for a new one.

Then, it starts allover again on the new one. I've also noticed the next time around it tends to last longer and burn deeper.

I didn't see an application for the 2009 F-150 on the EZ Lock site. How did you get it, or what did you order? How much was it?

Also, what power tailgate lock did you end up buying?

I bought the EZ Down on eBay for $54...guy said the 2004-08 version would work on the 09's. I checked my truck against the installation video from the EZ Down site, and I have all the holes required...so, I see no reason why it wouldn't fit.

As for the power tail gate lock: http://www.jcwhitney.com/POWER-TAILG...1007_10101.jcw

How hard was the tailgate lock to install? Where did you tap in the electrical connections?

Haven't gotten that far yet...I only ordered it yesterday. I'll post again when I do the install in the next couple of weeks. I already have the OEM key lock on the tailgate, this is just going to allow me to use my lock/unlock on the remote for the car to lock the tailgate. One of the guys here took it one step further and utilized the trunk popper on his alarm remote and the tailgate opens automatically. When I go to the alarm/remote starter I am going to look into that as well.
