What the Hail just happened

Got to love North Texas. While browsing the forums, I hear the uncomfortable sound of hail hitting the house. I quickly run outside and pull the truck in as far as it would go; it's about 3 inches to long to close the garage door. The hail was about (big) marble size and I didn't see any damage.

Probably a worthless post, but thought I would share.

As far as I can tell; yes. We have had over 5 inches of rain hear today, and still raining.

Hey, man. I think your location should be DFW, not DWF.

Yeah, hail sucks. I don't think marble sized will do damage except to the hood, since they're aluminum.

My truck got pounded by golfball sized hail last year at work in Ft. Worth. Sucked, nothing I could do but watch.

Oops, thanks for pointed that out. Guess I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Yes, it's covered, but don't want to go there.

We had a company picnic yesterday about an hour from where we live.
As we were heading home, not yet to the freeway, it went from sprinkling to raining so hard you couldn't see. Then the hail started. I whipped into the turn lane at the first intersection, and pulled into the lot, unable to see what was in there, but hoping for the best.
Turned out I had pulled into a Car Wash! Whipped into one of the three stalls
and waited out the hail for about 15 minutes.
It was pretty handy to use the Sirius Travel Link to track the storm while waiting.
