Another pricing thread

Okay so a deal bout 45 min away has a lifted lariat. fully loaded nav/moonroof/chrome pckg/power slider window/ skid plates etc + Procomp 6" lift, custom exhaust (believe its magnaflow), bullbar w/ lights, moto metal 20s w/ procomp 33/35 tires not sure of exact size butby looks i am leaning more to 35.

mmk there "sticker price" is $51,000ish asking around 48. What price point should i be looking at?

What would normal cost of the lift and accesories be is the biggest question i guess since it seems 20% off truck itself seems pretty normal at this point.

BTW sticker before all the addons is 47k

My suggestion is to get 20% discount on the MSRP sans mods. Price the mods without labor, take 10% discount on that and see how that works.

okay that is what i was figuring will call em tomorrow if i get a chance and start working on price. Thx for input

I was thinking more of 43 -- 45 ttl etc would be reasonable because it has alot of addons

Checked with them and they emailed a couple pics at my request and it has dealer plates on it? So would this be classified as used? or what. Has it been titled to that particular dealer and then i would purchase as a used truck or what?

I doubt it has been titled - probably has the dealer tag on it as someone may test drive it. How many miles are on it? Can you post a link? Any pics of the truck or window sticker? Just remember the dealers will pad the numbers on their add-ons. My dealer wanted $742 to level the front end. No lie. I was born at night, but damn it wasn't last night!

Good luck!

I do not have a link to it because its not an online posting, however i found the link to window sticker by the vin and fords site. CLICK HERE

On top of that add: 6" Procomp, Bushwacker Flares, Billet Grille, Bull Bar, PIAA Lights, Custom Magnaflow dual exhaust, Moto Metal rims w/ 35 procomp tires, and Bed cover (appears to be a soft folding vinyl style). Has a little over 1k miles, believe they said something like 1070ish

Prob find the manager or one of the sales people been using it as a work truck. Thats a lot of miles even for a demo of it's age. I wouldn't pay half what the extras cost on top of the price of the truck. Work out the MSRP of the truck then minus a min of at least 20% if not more seeings it got so many miles then half the price of the mods not including labor and that would be a good starting price. If you bought the mods and fitted them you would be lucky to get anything back on them at resale and the same goes for the dealer adding options. They ain't worth anywhere near what they are trying to sell them for.

$36k tops. $47k OEM truck, minus the $10k discount people can get for it new, minus $3k for dealer demo depreciation, plus $2k for mods.

Test drive the truck to another dealer and ask for a trade in price in writing. Then go back to first dealer and offer $3k more than that, showing competitors trade in price. Bet they say it's worth $30k for trade. Edmunds/Kbb say $30k for dealer trade in price. Let some other sucker buy that truck.
