Max Tow Package? Will it be a rougher ride?

Just wondering if the upgraded leaf springs in the rear are gonna bounce me down the highway?? I would hope they designed them to be as "pliable" as the stock springs, but now i'm second guessing it....

any input?

I have the max trailer tow package and can say without a doubt, the 09's ride is smooth - much better than my 06 KR. I don't think you can tell and difference in ride from one with the trailer package and one without.

mine rides great and as a point of reference...over the weekend a buddy of mine said that it rides very smooth and nice and he has a newer Durango. Even one of my sisters said that it rides better than her Buick...lol. But I didnt know they changed the rear springs out on the max tow package. I knew about the trans cooler, mirrors, 3.73, brake controller.

You get one extra (4th) leaf with either the max tow pkg, OR with 20" wheels.

So in summary there are tons of them out there. Nothing to worry about.
