I thought there was a thread about this and it was how the gauge works. Something to do with the Bypass system and the gauge only starts to show heat build up on the tranny when the bypass shuts of and works as normal??? I could be wrong though.

they are working on something but as of yet nothing has been released. but remember in no way is your transmission not working correctly, your trans is fine.

Nothing I've heard of yet. They're expecting a fix late second quarter 2009.

Quinten - great news. I noticed mine yesterday...right after I stared the truck (like 20 seconds and 1/2 block) the guage was already showing up to normal operating temp (it had been sitting overnight) so no way was the tranny warmed up yet!!
