Maybe a dumb question....

I'm in my truck, going through all the controls and SYNC stuff and I'm playing with the trip/odo meter. I'm scrolling through the functions on the basic info screens and I never get the Istantaneous MPG screen (the one with the MPG and the bar graph), It jumps from the "avg. MPG" screen to the "HOLD FOR......." screen that takes you into the other modes.

Am I missing something? It seems easy enough to view in the manual.

Not that I really need that screen, but if it's supposed to be there and isn't, I'm wondering if something might be wrong. Strange thing is that everything else functions 100%

What trim level do you have? I think only the Lariat, Plat, and KR have that function.

The XLT does not have that function, and trust me, your not missing anything. IMO, it is worthless.

Thanks. I wasn't too concerned about the function itself, just that if it was supposed to be there and it wasn't , might it had been an issue with something else in the intstrument display.

Thanks again.

I'll need to find this readout. Probably just another distraction to keep your eyes off the road.

It's basically a bar graph that says when you romp on it, you should hear the sucking vortex in the bottom of your tank and when you're coasting down a hill, it tells you that you accidentially got one of thier experimental engines that slipped out of the testing facility that's getting 99 MPG.
