I really want the BakFlip HD, it reminds me of my avalanche's cover. water tight, and able to remove(on avalanche) or flip 1 or 2 sections. I found an ebay dealer that is selling them cheaper than I have seen, even through here.

The video showed that the Bakflip would not interfere with the rotation of my bed extender. There are several covers I was looking at that wouldn't allow the extender to rotate.

First of all, allow me to give a big thanks to all that answered the post. Many points of view and food for thought.

After seeing the video I kind of like the Bakflip HD…..it’s really cool how it works. I saw where you can get it from Bakflip for $949.88 with free shipping. Think this may be the way I’m going to go…..gonna think on it for a couple of more days to make sure I get what I really want…..good thing is they are all around the same amount so it’s just getting what will work best for my applications.

Thanks again to all and Happy Fording……LOLOLOL

I see that you have a Extang Tri-Fold on your truck (looking at the pictures in your gallery). Did you change over to a Bakflip HD?

$949 is MSRP. I got my Bakflip HD for $800 delivered. Send me an IM and I'll give you the contact for this price.

Here it is on my 09 XLT right after it was installed. The seals have settled down since then are are now flush with the top of the bed with no ripples.

^CnA, he already has that contact info, he emailed me last night about it.

as far as those rubber side seals, I just used to heat gun on low setting to flatten them out the day I installed my cover.

I noticed if you park in the sun, the backflip seals flatten out. They ripple up everytime it is cold out and the cover remains in the flipped up position for awhile. Over $949 is a ripoff. I paid under $800 for my Backflip HD and got free shipping. Also, the white Backflip decal rubs off the cover easily for those like me who don't like decals on their truck.
